We know you may have some unanswered questions, especially if you have never rented a dumpster before. Below we have listed the most frequent questions that we receive. If you have questions that are not addressed below, please feel free to reach out to us through one of the following methods:

Questions and Answers:

Question: How far in advanced do we need to order a dumpster?
Answer: Depending on the dumpster size you are looking for we usually are able to deliver your dumpster the next day but to be assured of availability, we recommend that you place your order as much in advance as possible.

Question: What happens if I need a certain size dumpster and you don't have one available?Answer: If you request a dumpster of a certain size and our inventory of that size are all rented, we will offer you the next larger size at the same price of the one you have requested. Please note that your weight limit will remain the same as that of the size you have requested.

Question: How long can I keep the dumpster?
Answer: Our standard rental period is 6 days. If you feel you need it for a longer period of time, you may increase your rental period to as much as ten (10) days for a slightly higher rental fee.

Question: What if I after renting a dumpster I determine that I need an additional dumpster?
Answer: If before you complete your order, you are not sure about the size of the dumpster that you need, you should give us a call to determine the size that will best suit your needs. With that being said, there are some jobs that need more than one dumpster. We would be happy to provide an additional dumpster however there will be an additional charges based on the original order.

Question: What is the longest distance where you will deliver a dumpster?
Answer: While our base pricing is set for deliveries up to 30 miles from our location, we deliver dumpsters up to 75 miles for a slightly higher price.

Question: Where will you place the dumpster?
Answer: In most jurisdictions, we cannot place the dumpster on the street and it must be placed on a driveway. We recommend that you have us place the dumpster as close as possible to the area where the refuse is located. Please note that we frequently place dumpsters in the driveway in front of garage doors. The dumpster will be placed somewhere within the driveway or if you desire and it is safe to do so we can put the dumpster on your lawn. 

The amount of room that is required for the dumpster varies based on the size you order, however our average dumpster is 12ft long and 6 feet wide. It will not take up much more space than a 4-door sedan. Although the dumpster is only one car length, we require ample room in front of where you want the dumpster placed to allow for the truck to drop the container.

Make sure that you will be able to open all doors and access any automobiles that may be in the garage.

Question: Will the dumpster damage my driveway?
Answer: We go above and beyond to ensure that the container does not damage your driveway. All of our dumpsters are placed on wood so they do not sit directly on your driveway avoiding damaging the driveway. Although we do our very best to ensure the driveway will not be damaged, if you are looking a disposing of heavy materials it is best that you do not put the dumpster on a freshly paved driveway.

Question: What is not allowed in the dumpster?
Answer: Please go to our What We Take webpage where we outline what we will and will not take. This list is just general information and does not include every possible prohibited material, it is best if you are unsure to ask us.

Question: Can you provide guidance on how I might dispose of items that I cannot place in your dumpster based on your list of restrictions such as hazardous materials?
Answer: While we do not handle these items, we would suggest that you contact the following: Solid Waste Authority of Central Ohio http://www.swaco.org/

Question: Do we have to be home for the dumpster to be dropped off?
Answer: Yes, someone does have to be home when the dumpster is dropped off. We require this so you can acknowledge receipt of the dumpster in writing. However, you do not need to be home when the container is picked up. We will plan on picking up the dumpster at the end of the rental period unless you call and set an earlier pickup date.

Question: What are the time windows given for delivery?
Answer: Once a delivery date has been confirmed, we give you a 2-hour window in which the dumpster will be delivered. You will be able to login to the website and see the status of the delivery or pickup on the agreed to dates.

Question: How full can the dumpster be filled?
Answer: The dumpster can only be filled as high as the walls of the container. No materials are allowed to be above the walls, no exceptions.This is for our driver’s safety and the safety of everyone else on the road. Full dumpsters need to be covered and if materials are over the sidewalls of the container it becomes dangerous for our drivers to put the tarp on. Also overloaded containers with materials over the top, increase the risk of blowing out during transportation causing a danger to other cars. Also note that overfilled containers may exceed the maximum weight for your dumpster size resulting in an increase in your charges when we close out your rental.

Question: Can a dumpster be put on the Street?
Answer: Unfortunately, dumpsters are not permitted on the street.This is a rule placed by different municipalities throughout the area.

Question: Is the price quoted at the time of order a firm price?
Answer: The price of your order at the time that you schedule and pay for it is a firm price provided you do NOT extend the rental period and the weight when we pick it up does NOT exceed the maximum for your dumpster. We weigh your refuse at the landfill or transfer station and provide you with the receipt verifying the weight. 

We retain your payment information until we close out your rental. If there is an additional charge, you will receive notification and your final invoice will reflect the full amount of the rental cost. (Please note that your payment information is stored securely with our payment processor and your data is encrypted while stored.)
